ART: Mr. Wizarding World 2006 (R - NWS)  
Finally...it is finished! Here's Snape in all his skinny, hairy, pasty glory.

Title: Mr. Wizarding World 2006
Character: Severus Snape
Rating: R, for full frontal male nudity
Warning: Lots of body hair? A homely, naked man sitting in a lewd position?

Notes: Honestly? I love this picture. Is it weird that I think he's just about the sexiest thing since Iggy Pop in a feather boa? For once, I don't care if I'm the only one on God's green earth who likes this thing, although it would be nice if somebody else did. Thanks as always to [info]ook, who helped immeasurably. Without her, this painting would have been a piece of shit. Thanks also to [info]valis2, who hooked me up with some good ref.

ETA: By the way, no photo ref this time! I did of course refer to my beloved Burne Hogarth anatomy books (especially for the knees), but I used no reference for the pose. Okay, wait - I did use a photo for the shoulder, provided by the redoubtable [info]valis2. But that's it!

Hello.

Found my way here through hmmmm.....bottomsnape I think it was. I must say I absolutely adore this picture. Very nice work and very Snape. ^_^ The brazilianbikinwax version though....yikes, thats just scary. :p

Thanks! Yeah, the hairless version is a little scary. But you'd be surprised how many people prefer him that way. I think he looks like he's been boiled and peeled, myself...
